Some areas in Phuket are actually well over an hour away from our Chalong training centre and the main pier where all the dive boats depart from. Q: Can Aussie Divers provide accommodation?

A: Yes. Aussie Divers now owns and operates a hotel that is directly above our Chalong dive center shop. Rooms are 700 THB per night in low season, and 1,000 THB per night in high season, contact us for availability. If you looking for a monthly rental at our accommodation please contact our team for pricing and advice.

Q: What are the high and low season dates?

  • LOW SEASON :: May 1st – Oct 31st
  • HIGH SEASON :: Nov 1st – April 31st

Q: Where is the best place to stay when doing my IDC?

A: The best place to stay for your IDC is close to where you will be doing the bulk of your work! In this case that is Chalong, Pier Road, where our Chalong office is located. This is where you will do all your classroom work and where you will store equipment. This is also where our driver leaves from for beach diving and pool training activities.

If you are planning on staying elsewhere you most likely need to organize your own transport to and from the classroom each day and possibly to other facilities depending on the availability of our driver.
