With this rating you will participate actively in the development of future PADI Instructor. You will gain instructor-trainer knowledge, become in certain way a PADI Course Director assistant. As a PADI IDC Staff Instructor you also will:

  • Independently conduct, teach, evaluate and certify PADI Assistant Instructors
  • Conduct specific IDC training segments under the direct supervision of a PADI Course Director, evaluate IDC candidates in confined water, open water and in classrooms presentations.
  • Participate in evaluation, critique, encouragement and counsel PADI IDC candidates
  • Conduct or assist with instructor level continuing education programs such as specialty Instructor courses.
  • Teach and conduct EFR Instructor Training after you get the EFR Instructor Trainer rating
